What we keep
Short version: we store what you type into the two forms on this site, and nothing else about you. This page is accurate to how the site is currently built; it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
What we collect
Confession form: your confession text, and optionally your first name, company, email, company stage and where you're leaking time, energy, money or attention. Nothing on that form is required except the confession itself.
Subscribe form: your email address and which part of the site you signed up from.
We do not collect payment details here, and we do not run advertising or marketing tracking pixels on this site.
Why we collect it
To publish approved confessions on the wall, to email you when an episode lands, and to reply if you asked us to.
What gets published
Nothing is published automatically. A confession appears on the public wall only after a human approves it. If you do not tick the box allowing your name, it publishes as "Anonymous" with your company stage at most. Your email address is never published.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in this site's managed database, hosted by our infrastructure provider. Access is restricted to the hosts. Confession notifications may be sent to the hosts by email through a transactional email provider.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Interaction events (such as starting the Ordinary Test) are pushed to a browser-local data layer so an analytics tool can be connected later; no third-party analytics script is loaded today. If that changes, this page changes with it.
Your rights
Email aaronbare@aaronbare.com and ask to see, correct, unpublish or delete anything you sent us. We will do it. Every episode email includes an unsubscribe link.
Changes
If we add a tool that touches your data, this page is updated before it goes live. Legal review is still pending; jurisdiction-specific obligations have not been assessed.
