About

What this is

Don't Die Ordinary is a podcast about the slow, quiet way companies stop being interesting — and what it costs to stay interesting on purpose.

Why it exists

Most companies don't fail. They get comfortable, stop cutting, and go quiet. There is no notice, no obituary, no moment anyone can point at. By the time it's obvious, the interesting version of the company is years gone.

The show is two operators arguing about where the line sits between ordinary and extraordinary, in public, without the sanitised version.

What we believe

Subtraction beats addition. What you remove decides what you become.

Boring is a decision made a hundred small times, never once out loud.

Nobody chooses ordinary. It's the default setting, and defaults win unless you fight them.
