AARON BARE has sold one agency, built and exited a dozen companies, and written two books, one of them a Wall Street Journal bestseller. He spent thirty years learning what makes an agency actually work, and exactly what makes a client want to fire one. He built the opposite kind on purpose.

FORBES SHANNON walked out of a writers' room on a major Netflix comedy to go build things with Aaron instead. He runs the interviews and most of what's actually running behind this site. He still writes jokes. Some of them are in this show.

Extraordinary is Aaron and Forbes's actual company. We build the systems, software, and infrastructure that let capable people stop running their own machinery and start doing the thing only they can do. If a guest's episode ends with "so what would it take to fix this," this is what that conversation turns into.
